Brian Edward Walters
Business Law, Professional License Defense
Overview and Practice
Brian is an innovative thinker and aggressive advocate dedicated to protecting his clients. Brian’s clients trust him to create business structures that isolate assets from liabilities and to protect their professional licenses.
Professional Business Entity Structuring
Business structuring for licensed professionals is very different from traditional corporate structuring. Brian knows that professionals must pay attention not only to the basic liability protection created by forming corporations and limited liability companies, but also to the specific laws and regulations applicable to a professional practice. Unlike many transactional attorneys, Brian is an experienced litigator with years of courtroom experience across the state. Brian uses that experience to help create business structures that are not only papered correctly, but are also designed to withstand the scrutiny of a lawsuit or regulatory review.
Professional License Defense
Brian has defended licensed individuals and businesses against revocation proceedings, suspensions, and the imposition of substantial administrative penalties by the state. He works with his clients from the stage of initial complaint through trial, appearance before state boards, and appeal. Brian’s successes in professional license defense are the result of diligent research, a firm understanding of law and procedure, and a desire to see cases through to the finish regardless of the allegations.
